Going to the bead-store

Last time I was busy creating beads for the local bead-store at my new home-town. I'm so happy to hear that the bead-ladies are waiting for new goodies.

Jewellry Party

Last weekend was my yearly Jewellry party and this time with the new surrounding. Weather was fine and so I hoped for lots of guests to come over. I met many new ladies and they were all nice and kind. Good idea that I worked out a few more earrings as it seemed they were hot this time :-)) I'm very happy after the party and planning for the next one at springtime.

A little vintage hammered brass ring with a brass flower in the center embellished with dark amethyst rounds, translucent amethyst rondells and for some lighter points white freshwater pearls.

Found Object

I've talked to my neighbour about beach glass and how beautiful jewellrymaker can use it in their creations. She went on holidays to the eastcoast.... and what was she doing? Yesss, walking along the beach and keep an eye on beach glass. She came back with an handfull and I was surprised that she thought about our talk so far away and rememberred. I thought now it is great to create something for her as little thank you. This is one of two earrings and guess where is the other part? Yep, Gaby pick it up and carried home, hehe. And this one will follow after photographing.

The colors I chose are from my personal favorite color palette. Each for itself maybe to be boring or too bold, but together I think they are perfect to color your autumn. Think about of all the greys, blacks or brown fashion to wear with. The neckpiece fits perfect.

Last week I got my order for inks and so I could play a little bit around. This is a large focal bead made after a tutorial from Donna Kato. I enjoy the making very much even I have to refine some steps, hehe. For the first time I'm happy with the result.

Kaempen-Pebble

A few weeks ago I got from a neighbour the stone and the order to do something with it. The stone is a simple river rock and not very precious, but for my neighbour it has a personal importance. This was a challenge to me as I never wrapped a rock before and my experiences with wire-work is very low. I run around at several websites to get an imagination on how I can wrap the stone and as my neighbour want it as pendant for a neckpiece I had to make a good decision. I like how the pendant turned out. Let me know your opinions.
