Surprise

After a very loooong Odyssey I received loads of goodies from my friend Patricia. She sent it out after I returned from my vacancy as birthday gift. Normally I will receive from overseas in between 3 weeks but not as such long time. Anyway I'm happy it's not got lost on the way and very, very thankful that I have so wonderful friends who think about me for my birthday.
Thank you Pat for so much beautiful beads and findings to keep my creativity going. I love it all!

Original Version Jewels

Today I got nice daylight to take a shot of the finished original version of trytobeads Jewels. It's hard for my camera to get all colors right. If you want the original imagination of colors pls. go to the website from trytobead. You can believe that the mix of matte and shiny is great in nature. Very elegant.
I enjoyed stitching this nice pendant very much and have more color combinations in progress.
On the second photo you can see the difference between the origin and my cut-down version. I like them both.

Have a nice week!

Jewels

This is the smaller version from trytobead. Can't wait till I get the regular sized beads for this beautiful pendant and so I used what I have in my boxes.
The original sized pendant is ready too, waits to get photographed ;-))
Looks great on a short chain or cord and is definately an eye-catcher.

Maritim Teatime

Some weeks ago I had a talk to a friend of mine and she asked me if I have an idea on how to assamble beads and brickstitch. I'm not sure if she meant it like I did it with this short necklace, but this is what I understand.
I used czech seeds in pearl-white and midnight blue glaspearls. It looks very maritime and I can imagine to sit on a nice motor-boat and having a nice cup of tea, haha.

Oh, how nice...

the MIL of my daughter said after she saw my spiraling necklace. She liked the technique and the blue color. As I won't give mine away I sat down and made another one, with a few changes at beads. Matt grey, black-bluemetallic and for the facetted beads I use saphier-blue.
She don't know that she will get it next week and I'm looking forward what she's saying about this surprise. Hope she like this variation too.

Have a great weekend !
